Metta Meditation; a download…

"Metta" is a Pali word ("Maitri" in Sanskrit) meaning, benevolence, loving-kindness, friendliness, amity, goodwill and active interest in others. Isn't that beautiful?
Metta Meditation or Metta Practice is a unique way of extending your loving kindness out into the world in a way that tangibly benefits you and is believed by some, including us, to benefit those to whom you direct your goodwill.

The practice has its roots in Buddhism, but is universally applicable and universally up-lifting. We encourage you to use this meditation as a way of connecting your desire for people's happiness and freedom from suffering with your desire to actually feel goodwill, love and care. This is a peaceful and life-affirming practice that will set you up for a good day!

If you enjoy this, we have a longer piece over on our Conversations page where you can learn more about the how, the why and the origins of Metta mediation and practice.
